Fanciful Reader

a book blog about romance and more. . .

Mailbox Monday 11/20

Mailbox Monday is a gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week and explore great book blogs. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

This Month, Mailbox Monday is being hosted by Marcia at the Mailbox Monday blog.

Here in Minnesota, we have a beautiful snow-covered landscape outside. I wasn’t looking forward to the snow and cold, but at least I have a good reason to stay inside and do more reading.

Here are the books I picked up this week.

Magic Under Glass by Jaclyn Dolamore

Once Upon a Winter’s Eve: A Spindle Cove Novella by Tessa Dare

Falcon’s Fire (Fairfax Family Series, Book 1) by Patricia Ryan

The Gospel According to Coco Chanel: Life Lessons from the World’s Most Elegant Woman by Karen Karbo

Real Happiness: The Power of Meditation by Sharon Salzberg

Crossed (Matched) by Ally Condie

The Darlings: A Novel by Christina Alger

What about you? What did you pick up this week?

Wonderful sounding mailbox. I got The Darlings too and think it looks very interesting. Have a wonderful week and enjoy your new reads.

  2. Enjoy them all.

  3. Can’t wait for reviews of The Darlings – it’s on a few mailbox lists this week.

  4. It looks like you have plenty of good books to read while you’re stuck inside. I got The Darlings too.

  5. The Darlings showed up here too. It looks like a good read! I hope that isn’t a picture of your mailbox! That is quite a bit of snow. I am not looking forward to snow at all, although it does lend itself to extra reading time. I don’t get distracted puttering outside in the winter.

I picked up Once Upon a Winter’s Eve, too! I forgot to add it to my mailbox. I loved the first book in the Spindle Cove series. I’m first on the list to get Crossed once my library checks it in–can’t wait! Enjoy your new reads! Thanks for visiting my mailbox 🙂
