Fanciful Reader

a book blog about romance and more. . .

Mailbox Monday 8/29

Mailbox Monday is a gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week and explore great book blogs. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

This month Mailbox Monday is hosted by Staci at Life in the Thumb.

Here’s what I picked up this week.

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
Once Upon A Christmas by Nancy Lawrence
A Summer Folly by Mary Kingsley
Unholy Ghosts by Stacia Kane
Food Inc.: A Participant Guide: How Industrial Food is Making Us Sicker, Fatter, and Poorer-And What You Can Do About It by Karl Weber
A Proper Mistress by Shannon Donnelly
Two L by Lauren Willig
Juliet: A Novel by Anne Fortier

What about you? What was in your mailbox this week?

  2. Now that’s a huge mailbox! Hmmm calling dibs on your The Night Circus 😉

    Enjoy the reads.

  3. I really want to read The Night Circus. I didn’t realize Lauren Willig had a new book out. I’m going to have to check that one out.

    Enjoy your new books.

  4. I have no idea what to start with–I bought so many Georgette Heyer books last week that I think I’ll start with one of those! I was unable to login and comment on your blog, Susan, but I’ll keep trying to do so. Thanks for visiting!

  5. I found a “rogue” copy of The NIght Circus on ebay (the official release date is Sept 12th, I think). It’s a hardcover and it’s a gorgeous book!

  6. Yes, the new Lauren Willig book is a self-published novel about law school. Thanks for visiting!

  7. I’ve had my wishful eye on The Night Circus. Hope you enjoy all of your books!
