Fanciful Reader

a book blog about romance and more. . .

Mailbox Monday 7/25

Mailbox Monday is a gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week and explore great book blogs. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

This month Mailbox Monday is hosted by Gwendolyn A Sea of Books.

Here’s what I picked up this week. I bought quite a few books thanks to the “Big Deal” sale in the US Amazon Kindle store.

In for a Penny by Rose Lerner

Ember by Bettie Sharpe

Fire and Ice (Liam Campbell #1) by Dana Stabenow

England: An Illustrated History by Henry Weisser

Bewitching by Jill Barnett

The Making of a Duchess by Shana Galen

Android Karenina by Ben Winters (with help from Leo Tolstoy)

Gotcha! by Christie Craig

Magical Mischief by Anna Dale

Breadcrumbs by by Anne Ursu and Erin Mcguire (ARC from Walden Pond Press/Harper Collins)

A Lady Awakened by Cecilia Grant (ARC from Bantam)

What about you? What did you find in your mailbox this week?

  1. I missed that sale and will have to see if it’s still going on. It’ll be hard to decide which book to read first, but In For a Penny sounds intriguing to me.

  2. I hear Amazon Kindle has great book deals. Thanks for visiting my blog and enjoy all your books!

  3. Wow- looks like it was a great sale- hope you enjoy your books!

  4. Great mix of books! I will definitely have to check out The Illustrated History of England. Enjoy!

  5. I love love love Shana Galen. I can not get enough of her. Her plots and historical romance are above par – heroines with guts and rakes to dream of… sighs… really hope you enjoy her book.

PS All your other books look great too – yes I saw them too 😉

Looks like you’ll be busy with that great lot for quite a while. Have a great week and happy reading!

  7. I heard about the kindle sale. Sadly, I have the Nook. I am hoping some of the titles will be on sale on the Nook too. Great haul!
