Fanciful Reader

a book blog about romance and more. . .

Mailbox Monday 7/18

Mailbox Monday is a gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week and explore great book blogs. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

This month Mailbox Monday is hosted by Gwendolyn B.at A Sea of Books.

This week it looks like my only book purchases were in the Kindle store. Many of the titles below were on sale. For instance Sourcebooks has some of their Scottish Highlands-themed romances on sale for 99 cents. I also downloaded a few eARCs from Netgalley that I can’t wait to read–actually too many to list below!

The Duke and I by Julia Quinn

Fever Cure by Philippa Ashley

Highland Rebel by Judith James

Lady Elizabeth’s Comet by Sheila Simonson

Highlander’s Sword by Amanda Forester

Awaken the Highland Warrior by Anita Clenney

Material Girl (Lear Sisters Trilogy) by Julia London

The Devil Earl by Deborah Simmons

The Ivy Tree by Mary Stewart

What about you? Which of your new books are you looking forward to reading the most? For me that would be The Devil Earl by Deborah Simmons because I’ve read so many great reviews.

  1. Wow! You’re in for some romantic reading, aren’t you?! While I used to read a TON of historical romance, I don’t much anymore. But that Mary Stewart novel, THE IVY TREE, caught my eye. I understand her books are all being re-issued soon. I really want to read her works. Enjoy your haul!

  2. Enjoy all your new books!
