What I read in June 2011

June is not quite over yet, but it’s safe to say that I won’t finish a book in the next couple of days. So without further ado, here’s this list of what I read this month.

Stork by Wendy Delsol
Frost by Wendy Delsol. The follow-up to Stork, which was an eARC courtesy of the publisher via Netgalley. Though I find the heroine’s voice irritating at times, and there are a lot of loose ends in book #2, I’ve enjoyed reading the series and look forward to book #3.
Truly, Madly by Heather Webber. I read this for the TBR Challenge but never got around to posting a review.
Miss Minimalist: Inspiration to Downsize, Declutter, and Simplify by Francine Jay.
An Unsuitable Job for a Woman by P.D. James–this month’s pick for my book club, the first of (only two?) Cordelia Gray mysteries.
Jeeves and the Tie that Binds. Audiobook, possibly a re-read (re-listen?). I think this is my least favorite Jeeves and Wooster story.

I’m also about halfway done with The Fiery Cross by Diana Gabaldon (#5 in the Outlander series). I read books 1-4 last summer and took a long break.

This summer I resolve to listen to more audiobooks to reduce eyestrain and pass the time while reorganizing my work files. I have several checked out from the library–The Astral by Kate Christensen, the next book in the Cordelia Gray series, and Before Versailles by Karleen Koen, among others.

What about you? Which books are you planning to read this summer?
